Frequently Asked Questions

  • While traditional networking groups are a great resource for many professionals, they typically operate following a generic agenda that doesn’t allow for much else beyond that agenda.

At MEANT, each meeting will follow an agenda to keep us on track, but it will allow the following:

    • We have created a fun, supportive, interesting, and encouraging group of professionals who are GROWERS! And we’re human, not robots.

    • We are not stuffy, pretentious, or cold. We welcome all people with open arms, honored to meet each and every person who attends a MEANT meeting.

    • We allow time for our members to share BOTH successes and challenges within their careers.

    • We have an open brainstorming forum where our members spend time helping others tackle their challenges.

    • We are data-driven and devote time to tracking attendance, referrals, and any closed business.

    • We offer various leadership, personal, and professional learning opportunities throughout the year.

    • We truly care about our communities and foster a giving-back mindset, always looking to see where we can help fill a need in our area.

    • We have multiple locations with nearly 100 members in total. Our members love that they have a large, expanded network with various opportunities to connect with members from other locations!

  • We are a community of driven and ambitious professionals who thrive on connections and partnerships. We are business owners, sales professionals, office managers, and business representatives. If a business has an interest in expanding its network, as well as a representative (no matter their title) wanting to represent that business, we would love to welcome you!

Please note: MEANT groups are intended for local small businesses and nonprofit organizations. We are unable to accept MLM businesses at this time.

  • Once a business/individual is confirmed within a team location, there will not be another “competitor” from that industry. We believe that having a true “go-to” professional for specific services will allow for a more trusting and fulfilling business relationship as time goes on.

  • A financial commitment is required to join any team location. The annual membership of $350 is quite competitive for networking groups of this nature, and MEANT will continually be using those fees to provide more and more value to each and every member and location. New members will also be required to pay a one-time onboarding fee of $125.

  • Absolutely! Not only do we recommend that, but we require it! See below for steps on how to join a team location!

    1. Attend a Team Location Meeting as a Guest: You’re sure to have questions, so come see what it’s like to be a part of the group. There is NO COST to attend a meeting as a guest, and we’d love for you to come see what MEANT is all about!

    2. Think it Over: After your guest visit, a member of that location’s leadership team will reach out to you to discuss the next steps. It’s very important to ensure that you get all your questions answered prior to making any commitment!

    3. Join a location: If the MEANT team and YOU determine that it’s a good fit, then WELCOME ABOARD! The official onboarding process will begin which includes completing the membership guidelines, and membership payment is done, you’re all set to begin your MEANT journey! Please note that the annual dues are $350/year, and new members will be required to pay a one-time onboarding fee of $125.
